GENESEE COUNTY/Pair accused of selling a quantity of crack cocaine to agents of the Drug Task Force

Leonard A. Johnson III, 30, of Batavia, NY, and Chad Williams aka, “Messiah”, 52, of Rochester, NY, have each been each charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, both class B felonies, after a 6-month investigation into the possession, transportation, and sale of crack cocaine in and around the City of Batavia.

Johnson III (2 counts for each charge) and Williams, were taken into custody on a sealed indictment warrant out of Genesee County Court on October 2, 2023. Both Johnson III, and Williams allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force while in Batavia.

Both were arraigned in Genesee County Court and released on recognizance.

Task Force members were assisted by Uniformed Deputies of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.

Tony R. Graber, 44, of East Avenue, Marilla, NY, is charged with burglary 2nd degree, criminal contempt 1st degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, after allegedly illegally entering a residence, violating a full stay away order of protection while in possession of a narcotic substance believed to be fentanyl.

Graber was arraigned in Genesee County CAP Court on September 21st, 2023, and held without bail.
