GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Man sleeping in bathroom damages changing station when awakened by security

Tyler J. Burns, 19, no address provided, is charged with criminal mischief/damage to property, after deputies responded to Batavia Downs for a male reportedly going through vehicles on October 22, 2023 at 4:02a.m.

When deputies arrived on scene, they spoke with Burns, who fell asleep in the bathroom. When Burns was awakened by security, he became irate and destroyed the baby changing station.

Burns was transported to the Genesee County Jail for fingerprints and photos and was released on an appearance ticket. He will appear in Batavia Town Court on November 7th at 3:00p.m.

Trace G. Brewer, 23, of Montclair Ave., Batavia, and Jonathan M. Falk, 25, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, are charged with petit larceny and conspiracy 6th degree, after allegedly stealing a $40 pair of children’s Nike shoes from Kohl’s Department Store at 4170 Veteran’s Memorial Dr. on October 16, 2023 at 4:32p.m.

The pair fled the store after the larceny. They were later located and transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released on appearance tickets. The pair will appear in Batavia Town Court on October 24, 2023 at 3:00p.m.
