The Genesee County Local Drug Task Force arrested a City of Batavia woman on November 13, 2023, after an investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of crack cocaine in and around Genesee County.
Joanna F. Larnder, 30, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, both class B felonies, on a sealed indictment warrant out of Genesee County Court.
Larnder allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force in the City of Batavia.
Larnder is currently committed to the Genesee County Jail for charges stemming from a search warrant by the Genesee County Drug Task Force in late August of this year in the City of Batavia. During that search warrant, Larnder was allegedly in possession of a quantity of cocaine with the intent to sell it and failed to appear in court on her scheduled court date. She was released on her own recognizance on the new drug charges in accordance with bail reform but is currently jailed on bail jumping charges.
