GENESEE COUNTY/Three arrested in narcotics investigation

On August 31, 2023, the Genesee County Drug Task Force and the Batavia Police Emergency Response
Team executed a search warrant on the residence at 15 East Avenue, Batavia, as well as a vehicle, which was stopped on Clinton Street Road, Batavia, stemming from a narcotics investigation conducted by the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force.

As a result of the warrant execution, the following people were charged:

Alterique Day (51) — Saint Casmir Street, Rochester, NY is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd dgree (B-Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (D- Felony). Day was arraigned in the City of Batavia Court and held without bail.

Joanna F. Larnder (30) — East Avenue, Batavia, NY is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled
Substance 3rd degree (B-FeIony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree (A-Misdemeanor) and Tampering with Physical Evidence (A-Misdemeanor). Larnder was arraigned in the City of Batavia Court and was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Patricia McDonald (37) — East Avenue, Batavia, NY is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled
Substance 7th degree (A- Misdemeanor) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree (A-Misdemeanor). McDonald was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Batavia Court September 26th, 2023 at 1 PM.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, City of Batavia Police Department, and the Genesee County District
Attorney’s Office assisted with the investigation.
