A Silver Springs man was arrested following the investigation of abuse involving a child under the age of 15 on November 16, 2023.
Martin Smith, 64, of Silver Springs, N.Y. is charged with Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Smith was arraigned in Warsaw Court by Judge Fusani and was committed to jail on $10,000 bail. Smith is scheduled to appear in the Village of Silver Springs Court at a later date.
Deputy Nick Thomas assisted Investigator Aaron Anderson with the investigation.
