GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Trio accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart

On December 31, 2023, Alyssa M. Rondon, 33, and David R. Fallon, 41, both of Clifton Springs, NY, along with Rhonda J. Schirmer, 57, of Batavia, NY, were each arrested and charged with petit larceny, conspiracy 6th degree and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors, after allegedly stealing merchandise from Walmart at 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, in the Town of Batavia.

Rondon and Schirmer were additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a misdemeanor, after allegedly being found with a controlled substance on their person at the time of their arrest.

All three subjects were transported to the Genesee County Jail and released on appearance tickets. They will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 9, 2024 at 3:00p.m.

Maranda L. Button, no age provided, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, following a traffic stop at 8204 Park Road on December 31, 2023 at10:38p.m.

Button was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine while operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Button was pulled over for an inoperable headlamp.

Button also had an active warrant for her arrest.

She was held at the Genesee County jail pending arraignment on the warrant and new charges in CAP Court on January 1, 2024 at 9:00a.m.

Zackary C. Putney, 27, of Alexander, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, stop/stand/parking on a highway, a violation, and failure to use /improper use of 4-way flashers, after allegedly being found parked on the side of Rt. 33 in the Town of Pembroke on January 1, 2024 at 1:29a.m.

Putney was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and will appear in the Town of Pembroke Court on January 17, 2024.
