WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/March 8, 2024

On February 24, 2024, at about 1:37a.m., deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
were dispatched to a residence on Maxon Road in the Town of Bennington, for the report of a
domestic in progress between two males.

Once on scene it was determined that a male victim had been assaulted and the male suspect had been stabbed in the arm.
After an investigation, Nathan J. Klimko, 42, of Attica, NY, was arrested and charged with
Assault 3rd degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree.

Klimko was arraigned in the Town of Attica Court in front of the Honorable Judge Perry. The Wyoming County Public Defender’s Office was present to represent Klimko.

Following arraignment, Klimko was released on his own recognizance, as none of the charges qualified for bail per the NYS bail reform.

Klimko is scheduled to appear in the Town of Bennington Court at a later date. Also assisting at
the scene was the Bennington Fire Department.

On February 26, 2024, at about 05:54a.m., a deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
initiated a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Howard A. Tarbox ,44, of Binghamton, NY. Tarbox had two active suspensions on his license and was subsequently arrest for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the third degree and no/inadequate headlight.

Tarbox was processed roadside and issued an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Orangeville Court at a later date.

On February 23, 2024, at approximately 9:30P.M., Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies were
dispatched to the area of Grandview Drive in the Town of Arcade, for a report of a male riding a
motorcycle with a child passenger and they were not wearing helmets.

The Arcade Police Department located and observed the male, who was identified as Jessie Belford, 30, of Bergen, NY, operating a black motorcycle without a helmet.

Deputies spoke with Belford and recognized signs of impairment from alcohol. Belford was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Testing which he performed poorly on. Belford was transported to the Arcade Police Department where he submitted to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content (BAC).

Belford’s test showed he was above the legal limit. Belford was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, DWI .08% BAC or Higher, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Aggravated Family Offense along with other Vehicle and Traffic law charges.

Belford was arraigned and placed in the Wyoming County Jail on bail. Belford is to appear in the Arcade
Town Court at a later date.

Jessie Belford was arrested for Aggravated Family Offense and Criminal Contempt in the second
degree after he was found to have violated an Order of Protection. Belford, while in custody at
the Wyoming County Jail, made multiple phone calls to a protected party listed on the Order of
Protection which is in violation of the court order. Belford was arraigned on the above charges
and committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail and is scheduled to answer
these charges in Warsaw Court in March
