BATAVIA/The BHS Lady Devil Softball team shared their skills with The Stingers in a Sunday afternoon clinic at Ed Anderson Field

The BHS Lady Devils Varsity Softball team held a clinic with the Batavia Girls Fastpitch Softball Program/The Stingers on Sunday afternoon. Varsity Softball Coach Robert Kersch reached out to offer the opportunity.

“I thought we needed to roll the program a little bit, and what better way to do that than reach out to the youth program. (The Stingers),” says Coach Kersch.

The Stingers have already started practicing for their upcoming season this summer. They have teams at U8. U10 and U12. The BHS Lady Devils are 1-0 on the season with several games being cancelled due to weather.

“This gives them the opportunity to coach and see the game differently and give back to the girls because they once were these little kids that are out there playing. They really enjoy doing this,” says Coach Kersch.

This is the second clinic of three. The next one is April 21st from 4-6:00pm at BHS/Ed Anderson Field
