GENESEE COUNTY/Sheriff’s Office has charged a Lockport woman with murder in Alabama homicide investigation/charges are forthcoming for a second person involved

On April 19, 2024, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office charged, Kathryn A. Henry, aka “Kat”, 33 of
Lockport, N.Y. with Murder 2nd degree, a Class A-I Felony, for her alleged involvement in the death of
Michael G. Poole of Olcott, N.Y.

It is alleged that Henry conspired with another party, intentionally causing the death of Michael Poole and then took subsequent steps to conceal Poole’s body.

Henry is also charged with the following crimes for her alleged involvement in this incident:
Assault, 1st degree, a Class B Felony
Concealment of a Human Corpse, a Class E Felony
Hindering Prosecution 1st degree, a Class D Felony
Tampering With Physical Evidence, a Class E felony
Conspiracy, 2nd degree, a Class B Felony
Conspiracy 4th degree, a Class E Felony

Henry was arraigned on the above listed charges on April 19, 2024 and was remanded to the custody of the Genesee County Jail where she is being held on no bail.
Charges are expected to be forthcoming for another involved person, however, there is no concern for public safety as the alleged other party is in custody on another matter. This investigation remains under
investigation; no further details are available for release at this time.
