On 5/1/2024, Shawn T. Rushok, 25, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Failure to Register within 10 Days, as a sex offender. It’s alleged that Rushok failed to register a Snapchat account, as he is required to do as a sex offender. He was also charged, in another case for Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st degree for submitting falsified payment records to probation as proof of employment. He was issued appearance tickets in both cases and is due in Batavia City Court on 5/7/2024.
On 4/26/2024, Miyear M. White, 22, of Buffalo, NY, was arrested on two warrants. One charges him with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree. The other charges him with Petit Larceny. Both warrants stem from an incident on 2/12/2024, when he allegedly stole a credit card and used it at a local store. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

On 4/28/2024, Nicholas J. Wright, 31, of Pavilion, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Wright was arrested after he was stopped on Ellicott Street for speeding. After an investigation, it was determined that he was allegedly intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets and is due in Batavia City Court on 5/15/2024.

On 4/27/2024, Caleb R. Vanburen, 23, of East Bethany, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Vanburen was arrested, after he was stopped on Ellicott Street for speeding. After an investigation, it was determined that he was allegedly intoxicated. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court, at a later date.

On 4/25/2024, Julie L. Williams, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. It’s alleged that Williams sent numerous unwanted text messages to the victim with no legitimate purpose. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Batavia City Court, on 5/14/2024.
