On April 22, 2024, at approximately 10:10 P.M., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Deputy stopped a
vehicle for a speeding violation on Route 63 in the Town of Covington. After a DMV check, it was
found the driver, Johnathan Fuhrman, 37, of Leicester, NY, had a suspended New York State driver’s license with a total of five suspensions.
Fuhrman was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the second
degree along with other traffic infractions. Fuhrman was released on appearance tickets and is to
appear in Covington Town Court on May 13, 2024.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyle M. Melancon, 37, following a traffic
stop on Route 20A for operating a vehicle with no insurance. Deputies were alerted that the vehicle
was being operated on Route 20A and a traffic stop was conducted. During the stop, it was found
the vehicle registration was currently suspended for insurance lapse and the inspection was
expired. Melancon was arrested and issued tickets for operating a suspended vehicle,
operating without insurance and uninspected motor vehicle. Melancon is to answer the
charges on May 13th, 2024 in the Town of Sheldon Court.

Following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon for a license plate reader
alert on a suspended registration, deputies arrested owner/operator Donald N. Clark Jr., 55 of Sheldon
for DWI.
Clark was allegedly showing signs of intoxication roadside and was asked to submit to field
sobriety testing. Clark performed poorly on his field tests and was ultimately arrested for DWI.
Clark submitted to a breath test resulting in a B.A.C. of .08% or higher. Clark was processed and
issued an appearance ticket. He is due back in the Town of Sheldon Court on 04/29/24.

On May 3rd, 2024, at around 6:48a.m., a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was
operating stationary patrol on Route 20A in the Town of Perry, when a vehicle was
observed traveling eastbound. A registration check showed the vehicle’s registration was
suspended for an insurance lapse and a vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted on
Route 20A near Smith Road.
The driver was identified as Delcina R. Muldrow who was ultimately charged with Operating a
Motor Vehicle with a Suspended/Revoked Registration. Muldrow was processed roadside and
released on an appearance ticket. Muldrow is scheduled to appear in the Perry Town Court at a
later date.

On May 2, 2024, at about 11:36p.m., a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was
operating stationary patrol on East Buffalo Street [Route 20A], in the Village of Warsaw,
when a box truck was observed traveling eastbound.
A registration check showed the vehicle’s registration was suspended for an insurance lapse and a vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted on Route 20A near Toolhouse Road, in the Town of Warsaw.
The driver was identified as Dunia Mchide-Wa, ,47, of Buffalo, NY. Mchide-Wa was
charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Supsended/Revoked Registration .
Mchide-Wa was processed and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear
in the Warsaw Town Court at a later date.

On May 5, 2024, Christopher Hoffman, 39, of Castile NY, was arrested following an investigation by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office. Hoffman was arraigned in Perry Town Court on one charge of Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. Hoffman was released on his own recognizance, and is scheduled to appear in Castile Town Court
