On June 27, 2024, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office charged Norman S. DuBois, AKA
“Bud”, age 45, of Lockport, NY, for his alleged involvement in the death of Michael G.
Poole from Olcott, NY.
It is alleged that DuBois conspired with other parties to conceal Poole’s body. DuBois
is charged with the following crimes for his alleged involvement in this incident:
Hinder Prosecution, 1st degree — NYS Penal Law 205.65, Class D Felony
Tampering with Physical Evidence — NYS Penal Law 215.40-2, Class E Felony
Concealment of a Human Corpse – NYS Penal Law 195.02, Class E Felony
Conspiracy, 5th degree — NYS Penal Law 105.05-1, Class A Misdemeanor
DuBois was arraigned in Genesee County CAP Court on June 28, 2024, and was released
under the supervision of Genesee Justice. He is scheduled to appear in Alabama Town
Court on July 16, 2024.
Charges are expected to be forthcoming for another involved person, however, there is
no concern for public safety as the alleged other party is in custody on another matter.
This incident remains under investigation; no further details are available for release at
this time.
