Bergen, NY – Genesee Valley BOCES Early College High School invited current students, prospective students, families, school counselors, and administrators to their Open House for the 2024-2025 academic year at Byron Bergen High School on Thursday evening.
The Open House offered an opportunity for attendees to learn about the programs and offerings at the Early College High School located inside the Byron Bergen High School. Highlights include an Early College Regional High School, where students can earn both their high school Regents diploma and a college associate degree at the same time.
A partnership with Genesee Community College provides a wide range of degree paths, covering nearly every major GCC offers. Students in 9th and 10th grade attend classes at Byron-Bergen, while 11th and 12th graders attend GCC, giving them a genuine college high school experience.
This event allowed prospective students and families to meet the staff and learn more about the school’s unique approach to education.
