Perry, NY – Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of a Perry resident following an order of protection violation in the Village of Perry.

On May 21st, 2025, The Perry Police Department responded to a violation of an order of protection complaint. While Officer Cross was on scene, it was determined that 44-year-old Bobbie Ellis had violated a refrain from order of protection when she was allegedly yelling at the victim, telling them she was going to put them in the ground, and that they were done for, causing the 15-year-old victim to be afraid of Ellis.

Ellis was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment 2nd degree, and criminal contempt 2nd degree

Ellis was arraigned in the Warsaw Village Court by Judge Sundt, where the refrain from order of protection was changed to a full stay away order of protection, and bail was set at $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond and $40,000 partially secured bond.

Ellis was committed into the Wyoming County jail and is to appear in the Perry Village Court on 06/10/2025.
