Perry, NY – Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of Elizabeth M. Baker, 48, after a report was filed by United Health Care, that Elizabeth M. Baker, no address provided, who is a Licensed Practical Nurse, had been allegedly filing fraudulent claims.
After a lengthy investigation by Officer Fleiss, it was determined that Elizabeth Baker allegedly received over $170,000 in a 2-year span by filing these claims that were determined to be against a Medicare Benefit Policy.
Baker was arrested on June 6, 2025, and is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd degree: Value Exceeds $50,000.
Baker was issued appearance tickets and released. She is set to reappear in the Village of Perry Court on July 8th, 2025.
