The 6th Annual Genesee County Sheriff’s Office Teen Academy concluded with a graduation ceremony of 17 students this afternoon that was attended by several family and friends. The academy was held all week at Genesee Community College and was made possible with the support of Genesee County STOP DWI, the Genesee County Legislature, and Genesee Community College.
“The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be able to provide such a unique experience to our youth, expanding their knowledge of the criminal justice field and the various roles law enforcement holds in our community,” stated Sheriff Joseph Graff. “I want to thank the students for their hard work and dedication and to all those that provided instruction throughout this weeklong program. A special thank you to Academy Director Deputy/SRO Joshua A. Brabon, and all the Deputies, School Resource Officers, and Investigators for their assistance.”
