GLOW Community Alliance held a Good Trouble rally and school supply drive at City Centre on Thursday evening.
About 50 people gathered from 6-8pm, flying flags, carrying signs, and waving to vehicles honking their horns.
Organizer Sarah Wolcott says the school supplies collected will be donated to Wyoming Central School.
Many other Good Trouble protests were held across the area and the country, as this is the 5th anniversary of Rep. John Lewis’ passing. Lewis devoted his life to fighting oppression.
GLOW Community Alliance says they are planning another rally on Labor Day.
