Batavia, NY — The Genesee County Office for the Aging will host a Retirement Planning Seminar on
Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Genesee Community College (One College
Road, Batavia – Room T102 in the Technology Building on the right).
This free seminar is designed to help individuals prepare for retirement with valuable information on a
range of topics, including:
- Legal considerations
- Social Security
- Life balance
- Financial planning
- Volunteer opportunities
- Insurance options
Whether you’re nearing retirement or just starting to plan for the future, this seminar provides the
guidance and tools needed to make informed decisions about your retirement.
The event is made possible through funding from the New York State Office for the Aging, New York
Connects, the Department of Health and Human Services, the New York State Department of Health,
and the Genesee County Legislature, along with contributions from community partners including SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program), Edward Jones, and Neighborhood Legal Services.
