Batavia, NY- The Batavia Muckdogs defeated the Jamestown Tarpskunks in the PGCBL West Division Championship and will now face off against either the Amsterdam Mohawks or the Saugerties Stallions in the PGCBL Championship best of three final series at Dwyer Stadium on Friday August 1st or Saturday August 2nd depending on seeding.
Video-Cooper Fesh with an RBI single and Omar Carreras scores in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Muckdogs more breathing room. Luc Rising pitched five scoreless innings.

Batavia has now won the West Division Championship in 2 of the last 4 seasons dating back to 2022.
