The Genesee County Drug Task Force, comprised of Police Officers from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and the Batavia Police Department, arrested a City of Batavia woman on July 30, 2025, as a result of an investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of crack cocaine in Genesee County.
Madalyn R. Muntz was taken into custody by Genesee County Sheriff’s deputies on a sealed indictment
warrant out of Genesee County Court. It is alleged that Muntz sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force.
Muntz, 39, of Batavia, NY is charged with:
1.Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B-Felony (3 Counts)
2. Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B-Felony (3 Counts)
The Genesee County Drug Task Force was assisted by uniformed deputies from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, uniformed officers from the Batavia Police Department and the Genesee County District Attorney’ s Office.
