“The support for the Y from Merrill Lynch and the team there is fantastic. It’s obviously the biggest fundraiser we have for the Y, it not only raises funds, but it raises awareness which is really what we want to try and do. Providing people a healthy option and getting folks to work out and become better for themselves,” says Fix.
Alethia Keiper’s family created a team this year in her memory. They are one of 80 teams and almost 800 people who participated in the annual fundraiser for the GLOW YMCA. (see above video for more)
Video-Zak Jantzi, 24, of Batavia is the men’s first place finisher with a time of 17:10. This is his 3rd consecutive win in the GLOW Corporate Cup. Mia Vizcaino, 22, of Brockport is the women’s first place finisher with a time of 19:28.
