Press release
Family related activities will take place between 12 and 2pm. There will be on site entertainers including face painting, balloon artists and magicians as well as a kettle corn stand, pumpkin decorating (for kids 12 and under), carriage rides, & pony rides.
The wiener dog races will commence at 2pm. With the Buffalo Football already playing on Thursday, guests won’t have to worry about missing their favorite football team play on Sunday. Folks still wanting to race their purebred dachshund can call up until Friday to reserve a spot by contacting Jackson at 585-343-3750 extension 6299.
Admission and Parking is free.
Also taking place on Sunday inside of the Clubhouse is a Football Sunday Brunch! Guests can make a reservation between 10:30pm to 1:30pm by calling 585-344-6143. The brunch buffet features scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon & sausage, pastries, & more — plus a coffee & juice bar. Walk-ins are welcome. Cost is $25 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under and kids who are 5 years old and younger eat free.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming in everyone for this great annual tradition,” said Ryan Hasenauer, Vice President of Business Development at Batavia Downs. “We’ve added a brunch on site for those interested beforehand, which is a great way to fuel up before all the activities outside.”
