52 vendors participated in the Lucky Paws Tails and Treats Howl-o-ween Bash at Batavia City Center on Saturday. The free community event was in support of Lucky Paws and Vanessa’s Lasting Legacy Ltd., a local nonprofit helping veterans, the elderly, the homeless & disabled individuals keep their beloved pets in their homes by providing food, supplies and pet equipment.

There was also trick-or-treating for kids with the vendors, adoptable pets from local rescues, music, raffle baskets, Buffalo Bills themed baskets, and a kid’s costume contest.

The 501(c)3 was started in honor of a pit-bull named Vanessa. The group’s goal is to keep families together with their pets to help their mental health and decrease the number of animals being surrendered at the shelter.
