The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office responded to and handled a car vs. bus motor vehicle accident on Route 63 in the Town of Pavilion. The Genesee County Emergency Dispatch Center received the 9-1-1 call reporting the accident at 7:21AM.
Deputies responded and conducted an investigation revealing that the school bus was stopped at a railroad crossing. A red 2014 Buick, traveling on Route 63 had rear ended the bus while it was at the railroad crossing.
No injuries were reported and all student on the bus were evaluated by emergency medical services as a precaution and the school district policy. The operator of the car involved was issued a traffic citation as a result of the collision and subsequent investigation.
