Tim Johnson, President of the Genesee County Charity Riders, presents a check for $1,000 dollars to Officers Yung and K-9 Officer Quider with Batu, during a Trunk or Treat on Saturday afternoon at Bank and West Main Street in the City of Batavia.
“About two weeks ago we did a ride for Shop For A Cop and we raised $1,000 for them to put in the fund for kids at Christmas time,” says Johnson.
“They were nice enough to come down here with the dog for the kids tonight we had a fire truck here earlier, it turned out to be a nice event even with a little bit of rain.”
The Shop With A Cop event is planned for December 13th this year.
