Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of two Warsaw residents following an investigation on Walnut Street in the Village of Perry.
On November 4, 2025, at approximately 10:37 p.m., the Perry Police Department was dispatched to 37 Walnut Street for a report of an assault in progress.
Following an investigation and a search of the surrounding area with the assistance from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, officers arrested Alex Gross, 26, and Bryce Allard, 23, both of Warsaw, NY. Gross and Allard were each charged with Assault 2nd degree, after allegedly attacking a third male victim, causing severe injuries to his head and neck.
Both defendants were arraigned before the Honorable Judge Fusani in Warsaw.
Gross was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on bail set at $25,000 cash / $50,000 bond / $100,000 partially secured, and Allard was remanded on $15,000 cash / $30,000 bond / $60,000 partially secured.
Both are scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court on November 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

Samuel Genovese, 34, of Webster, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop for speed in a zone which led to a DWI investigation.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., officers observed a Honda sedan traveling north on South Main Street in the Village of Perry at a high rate of speed.
During the roadside investigation, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and noted that the driver allegedly appeared to exhibit signs of impairment. Standardized field sobriety tests were administered at the scene, followed by an independent evaluation by a certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).
Based on observations made by both the responding officers and the DRE, it was determined that the driver was allegedly impaired by cannabis. Genovese was charged with DWAI/operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs and speed in a zone.
Genovese was processed and issued an appearance ticket. He is set to re appear in court on 11/18/2025 at 1:00p.m.
