Mickey Hyde(left) is the new Business Development Officer at Family First Credit Union in Le Roy, this is the company’s first location in Genesee County, and they are officially open for business. Hyde, pictured with Family First Credit Union CEO Tom Dambra, says customer service is important.
“I think that our customer service is fantastic. We’re a small organization, and we can make all of our decisions right in house, and it’s fast. Nothing needs to be sent out someplace else. We handle all the decision making, and we can turn things around fairly quickly.”
Hyde says that as long as you live in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, Monroe or Wayne County, or work in one of those counties, you can become a member.
Hyde was previously a branch manager in Le Roy for 21 years in another organization.
“I’ve got a great customer base previously. Basically, the things that I’m concentrating on are home equities and CDs here, because our rates are always really good. We have shared services with Tonawanda Valley Credit Union, so you can actually do deposits and things like that to your Family First account, right there at Tonawanda Valley in Batavia.”
