A tradition started during the Pandemic was revived by family and friends from Churchville, NY on Veterans Day Tuesday morning at the NYS Veterans Home.
“We started doing this during COVID when no one could come in, because my grandparents were in here, we just kind of kept doing it every couple years,” says Anne Bezon.
“We just usually send out a message to a couple kid’s friends to see if they want to join us. We stopped for two years or so because we had stuff going on and we couldn’t make it, and so this year we were like we should pick this back up, it was cute.”
Anne and Keith Bezon also helped fill the birdfeeders today with Anne’s mom Michelle Yasses.
