GENESEE COUNTY/Chamber of Commerce announces “31 Days of Shopping Local”

Press release

In the spirit of “Small Business Saturday” the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a “31 Days of Shopping Local” social media campaign from November 24th through December 24th.

Throughout the month, the Chamber will spotlight local businesses across the county, over multiple social media channels. Some will feature Holiday specials, while others will showcase unique products, services, and even tips for supporting your mental health during the season. The goal is to continue to bring awareness for local businesses during the Holiday season, and beyond.

“The heart of this campaign is simple,” said Tory Thompson, Marketing & Event Coordinator for the Chamber. “It’s a reminder to get out there and support the local businesses that make our community strong. ’Tis the season, yes, but imagine how much more we could grow if we all made a little extra effort to shop, dine, and support local all year long.”

The Chamber encourages residents to like, share, and support local throughout the campaign. Every small action can make a big difference for Genesee County’s businesses.

The campaign will be featured across the Chamber’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
