Genesee Region USBC bowlers continue to rack up the honor scores.
This latest update reveals that seven perfect games, a pair of 800 series and four 11-in-a-row games have been recorded over the past six weeks by members of the local association.
Here is the list, by bowling center:
Rose Garden Bowl, Bergen
The most recent honor scores came on Dec. 9 when Mike Pettinella of Batavia rolled a 300 game and 806 series in the Tuesday Scratch Doubles League.
The veteran right-hander opened with 19 consecutive strikes in a 300-247-259 effort on lanes 3-4. The 300 is his fourth at Rose Garden Bowl.
On Nov. 18, Batavian James Townsend spun 299 and 827 – also on lanes 3-4 and also in the Tuesday Scratch Doubles League.
On Nov. 13, Stefan Krna strung 11 straight strikes in a 293 game in the Thursday Owls League.
Medina Lanes
On Nov. 20, Marty Bedford clicked for 802 in the Thursday Firefighters League at Medina Lanes.
Previous 300 games at Medina Lanes were recorded by John Ross, on Nov. 13 in the Firefighters League, and by Hayden Allis, on Dec. 3 in the Wednesday Community League.
Jason Mahnke and Alex Allis each posted games of 299 on Nov. 16 and Nov. 12, respectively, while Juliana Allis rolled a 288 game and 717 series on Nov. 16 in the Sunday Rolloffs League.
Mancuso Bowling Center, Batavia
Nathan Cordes of Batavia registered his second 300 game of the season, the latest coming on Nov. 25 in the Tuesday Coed League.
Oak Orchard Bowl, Albion
On Nov. 23, Jim Foss of Medina fired 300 in the 60-and-Over Tour event, and on Nov. 13, Robbie Hanks spun a 300 game in the Thursday Triples League.
Mount Morris Lanes
Jordan Gelser found perfection in the Sunday Night Mixed League.
