Thomas A. Culver, 46, of Park Road, Batavia, NY, is charged with grand larceny 4th degree after allegedly stealing a motor vehicle from Federal Drive in the Town of Batavia on January 11, 2026.
Culver was located in possession of the vehicle in the City of Rochester, where he was arrested and transported to the Genesee County Jail where he was held for CAP Court.

On January 8, 2026, at 5:21 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to 390 West Main Street, Tops Supermarket, for a subject who allegedly stole an electric scooter and left the store.
The deputy located and arrested Samuel J. Hernandez, 23, of Buell Street, Batavia, NY. He is charged with grand larceny 4th degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Hernandez was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and issued an appearance ticket. He will appear in Batavia City Court on January 27, 2026 at 1:30p.m.

Nevada M. Nichols, 33, of Hartshorn Road, Corfu, NY, is arrested and charged with grand larceny 4th degree, following an investigation at 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Walmart, on January 8th, 2026 at 4:56p.m.
Nichols allegedly stole merchandise valued at $1,299.00 from the location and then left the scene.
She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on January 27, 2026 at 1:00p.m.

Jon H. Bush Jr., 42, of West Main Street Road, Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd degree and no/insufficient tail lamps, after a traffic stop on West Main Street Road on January 12, 2026 at 5:17p.m.
Deputies say that after a search of the vehicle, alleged drug paraphernalia was located in the driver’s door and in the center console of the vehicle. Bush was also allegedly driving with a revoked driver’s license.
Bush was arrested and transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on February 3, 20-26 at 10:00a.m.

Daryl A. Leach, 44, of West Main Street Road, Batavia, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree, after allegedly being involved in a physical altercation inside the Genesee County Jail as an incarcerated individual on January 1, 2026 at 9:29p.m.
Leach was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on February 3, 2026, at 10:00a.m.
