WYOMING COUNTY/Sheriff candidate Colin P. B. Reagan announces Undersheriff candidate and endorsements

Press release

Today, I announce Captain Kenneth M. Tisdale as my Undersheriff candidate in the 2026 Republican Primary and General Election.

Captain Tisdale has been with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office since 2004, where he served as a Correction Officer in the Wyoming County Jail for four years.  While serving as a Correction Officer, Captain Tisdale put himself through the Rural Police Training Academy, and he was hired by Warsaw Police Department in 2007.  In 2008, Captain Tisdale transitioned to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division as a Deputy Sheriff, where he served in that role for seven years.  Captain Tisdale was then promoted to Investigator, and he spent nine years serving in that position.  A year and a half ago, Captain Tisdale was promoted to his current role as Captain, where he has overseen the Civil Division, Court Security Division, and School Resource Officers.

Captain Tisdale has served his community in many ways, including time on the Letchworth Central School Board.  Captain Tisdale is also currently sitting as a Village of Gainesville Trustee.  Captain Tisdale’s extensive Law Enforcement experience, participation in local government, and human relations skills, make him an outstanding candidate for Undersheriff.  With the full support of his wife, Naomi, of 28 years, four children, and one son-in-law, I have no doubt that Captain Tisdale will serve the People of Wyoming County, and the staff of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, with the utmost of professionalism.

Additionally, it is my humble honor to announce two endorsements to my campaign.  Current Sheriff David Linder, along with Retired Sheriff Farris Heimann, have both announced their endorsement for me as the next Wyoming County Sheriff in the 2026 Election.

Beginning on February 24, 2026, we will begin traveling Wyoming County with petitions, and it would be my great honor if you would consider signing your name on one of my petitions.  I look forward to meeting and conversing with many of you in the coming weeks and months.  Thank you for your time, and stay safe.
