15 fire departments responded to a four-alarm fire at 4752 Rt. 20A in the Town of Warsaw on Friday night.
When crews arrived on scene, the 40×250 foot barn was fully involved according to the Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services. The entire barn and its contents were a total loss, and damages are estimated at $100,000. No animals perished in the blaze.
Four firefighters required medical attention at the scene with two being transported to WCCH with non-life-threatening injuries.
Fire crews were able to protect the house from any damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire crews were on scene for about 6 hours.
Fire departments from Warsaw, Varysburg, Silver Springs, Wyoming, Perry Center, Perry, Castile, Attica, Gainesville, Sheldon, North Java, Bliss, Strykersville, Pavilion and Le Roy responded to the scene.
Also assisting on scene, Wyoming County Emergency Services, Wyoming County EMS, Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department, and NYSEG.
