WARSAW, NY – The 17th annual Pride of Wyoming County Agriculture Dinner, presented byBuried Barrel Hard Cider, was held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the North Java Fire Hall. The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office partnered with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County, Wyoming County Farm Bureau and the Wyoming County Soil and Water Conservation District, to celebrate and recognize the important impact of agriculture in Wyoming County. Six honorees were recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments and work in or associated with the agriculture industry.
The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office presented the Agri-Business of the Year award to LandPro Equipment of Warsaw/Silver Springs, accepted by their store manager Scott Holmes. The award is given annually to an agri-business that exhibits any or all of the following criteria including expansion projects, job growth, community involvement, and contributions that strengthen the agricultural industry.
The Good Neighbor Award was presented to Megan Burley of Warsaw and the Friend of Agriculture award was presented to Buried Barrel Hard Cider in Castile, accepted by Nick and Lindsey Pankow. These awards are given by the Wyoming County Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wyoming County.

The Wyoming County Soil and Water Conservation District also presented the annual Conservation District Farm of the Year award to Pingrey Farm 2, LLC; the Ronald P. Herman Partner of the year award to Steve Lakas, Wyoming county Highway Department; and the Agricultural Environmental Management award to the Boxler Dairy Farms, LLC.
Over 200 people attended this year to enjoy the annual dinner and program. Decisions Catering catered the event providing a wonderful buffet service, Booze Babes Bartending served drinks and DJ Dave Jickster of 97 Rock kept great music playing throughout the evening. Senator George Borrello attended and also said a few words as well as James Brick, Chairman of the Wyoming County Board of Directors and the 2026 Wyoming County Dairy Ambassador, Juli Jordan.
“The Pride of Agriculture Dinner continues to highlight the strength and legacy of Wyoming County’s agricultural community,” said Chamber & Tourism Board Chair Norb Fuest. “Now in its seventeenth year, this event honors an industry that not only defines our heritage, but also drives our economy and positions our county as a leader across New York State and beyond. We congratulate this year’s outstanding award recipients and thank them for the dedication and innovation that sustain local jobs and contribute so much to our region’s success.”
“It was wonderful to see another great turnout for this annual event, not only in attendance but in sponsorships as well” said Jennifer Sealy, Director of Business & Visitor Engagement at the Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office. She continued, “This program would not be possible without the support of the partner organizations, local businesses and individuals from across the county. Thank you to everyone for your support and pride in our county’s rich agriculture. We’re already looking forward to next year, so save the date of March 6, 2027.”
