BATAVIA, NY – Tuesday, March 31, 2026 – The Batavia Rotary Club is gearing up for its next major community fundraiser, an event designed not just for entertainment but to power the club’s extensive grant-giving mission in Batavia. The upcoming community Meat Raffle is scheduled for Saturday, April 11th, hosted at Notre Dame High School. Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the first drawing kicking off at 6:00 PM.
“Our Meat Raffles are always a high-energy evening, but the true impact happens long after the winners take home their premium cuts,” said Lynn VanDerBeck, President of the Batavia Rotary Club. “The proceeds from this event are a critical funding source for our robust community programs. When you purchase a ticket for the raffle, you are directly investing in the diverse and vital local organizations that Batavia relies on.”
An admission ticket of $15.00 includes beer, wine, and soda, securing attendees their spot at Notre Dame. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks and, most importantly, a large cooler to take home their winnings. The night will feature multiple rounds of raffles, offering numerous chances to win varied and substantial meat packages, basket raffles, and door prizes!
In addition to the main meat raffle, the Batavia Rotary is hosting a spectacular Bonus Raffle.. Tickets for the bonus raffle are $10 each or three for $25, offering a chance to win one of four marquee prizes:
- A Full Freezer stocked with premium meat.
- A curated Basket of Booze.
- A Downs Play-n-Stay getaway package.
- Two Tickets to the prestigious Wings over Batavia Airshow.
Crucially, participants in the Bonus Raffle do not need to be present to win these four major prizes, providing an excellent opportunity for community members to support the cause even if they are unable to attend the event in person.
