On 4/16/2026, Lindsay Goins, 70, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Menacing 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree. It’s alleged that Goins threatened another person with a knife during an altercation on Mill Street. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 4/20/2026, Jeremiah T. Jones, 52, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Jones allegedly grabbed another person during an altercation on West Main Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 4/21/2026, Zachary W. Williams, 33, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Williams was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine during an incident on Jackson Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 4/14/2026, Duane A. Mather, 52, of Medina, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. Mather allegedly contacted a person by phone who had an order of protection against him. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 4/18/2026, Daniel A McFadden (age 31) of Batavia, was arrested for Criminal Mischief 4th. It’s alleged that McFadden damaged a TV, during a domestic incident on Kingsbury Ave. He was arraigned in CAP Court, and an order of protection was issued between McFadden and the victim. After being released, McFadden allegedly violated the order of protection by contacting the victim by phone. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 4/18/2026, Mark L. Giesler, 67, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Giesler was charged following a traffic stop on Ross Street. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

On 4/14/2026, Tonya M. Weber, 42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Weber allegedly stole merchandise from Dollar General. During her arrest, she was allegedly found in possession of cocaine and fentanyl. She was issued appearance tickets and released. She is due in court on 4/28/2026.

On 4/14/2026, Kyle W. Nash, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two warrants. The first warrant is related to an incident from December of 2025, where Nash allegedly stole merchandise from Aldi. The other warrant is related to a traffic stop from December of 2024, where Nash was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket. The warrants were issued after he failed to appear in court. Nash was arraigned in CAP Court and released.

On 4/18/2026, Jaheim R. Smith, 24, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd degree. Smith allegedly hit and shoved another person and damaged their glasses while a child was present. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.
