Jarrod K. Fotiathis, 31, of Batavia, NY, is charged with assault 2nd degree, a class D felony, after allegedly causing physical injury to another person while incarcerated at the Genesee County Jail on May 19, 2026.
Fotiathis was held at the Jail pending a CAP Court arraignment on May 19th, 2026.

Craig D. Brown, 45, of Batavia, NY, is charged with assault 2nd degree, a class D felony, after allegedly assaulting another person while incarcerated at the Genesee County Jail on May 23, 2026.
Brown was scheduled to appear in CAP Court on May 24th, 2026 at 9:30a.m.

Jennifer L. Fraser, 38, of Stafford, NY, is charged with abandonment of animals after an animal complaint on Pratt Road on May 19th, 2026.
Fraser allegedly abandoned her dog on Pratt Road.
She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on June 23, 2026 at 10AM in front of Judge Young.

On May 11th, 2026, at about 11:41PM, deputies responded to Batavia Downs for a report of drug paraphernalia seen on two people entering the Downs. When deputies arrived on scene, they identified the two subjects as Hillary D. Russell, and Louis S. Szabo, no ages or addresses provided.
Both Russell and Szabo were allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Szabo also allegedly used a false NYS Identification card to gain access to the Batavia Downs Facility.
Russell was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, and criminal impersonation 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Szabo was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Both were transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on May 26th, 2026 at 10AM.

Adalberto Torres, 59, of Rochester, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree while at Batavia Downs, 8315 Park Road on May 12, 2026.
Torres was allegedly in possession of cocaine while at the Downs.
Torres was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and was released on appearance tickets. Torres will appear in Batavia Town Court on May 26, 2026 at 1:00p.m.

Michael J. Pittman, 31, of Mt. Morris, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $37.98 worth of merchandise from Target on 5/07/2026. Pittman was also charged with resisting arrest after being placed into custody.
Pittman was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and was released on an appearance ticket. He will appear in Batavia Town Court on May 26th at 10AM
