On 6/19/2026, Daniel P. Frey, 43, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Petit Larceny and Falsely Reporting an Incident. Frey allegedly broke into a vacant residence on Porter Avenue and allegedly stole firearm ammunition. He then falsely reported an incident to police regarding how he came into possession of the ammunition. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
On 6/15/2026, Paul W. Zeches, 37, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Failure to Report Change of Address as a Sex Offender 2nd Offense. Zeches allegedly failed to report a change of address within 10 days, as he is required to do as a level 2 sex offender. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 6/16/2026, Rosemary R. Waters, 40, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest. Waters was allegedly found in possession of narcotics and resisted arrest when officers attempted to take her into custody on an outstanding warrant. Waters was issued an appearance ticket and taken to the Genesee County Jail to be arraigned on the warrant.

Sweet was charged following a traffic stop where he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics while driving with a suspended license. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

Hooker, 34, of Albion, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree. Hooker was charged following a traffic stop on Vine Street where he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics while driving with a suspended license. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 6/20/2026, Jennifer L Button, 41, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and Harassment 2nd degree. Button allegedly violated an order of protection. While being taken into custody she allegedly threw an object at a police officer and resisted arrest. She was taken to the Genesee County Jail to be arraigned in CAP Court.

Hutchinson, 51, all of Batavia, NY, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. All three were charged following a traffic stop on Ellicott Street where they were allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine. They were issued appearance tickets and released.
