Nine teams are walking in the Walk of Hope in Le Roy this evening at Hartwood Park until 10PM. Anyone can join them or stop by to cheer them on as they walk in honor and memory of all those affected by cancer. Monies raised will be donated to Genesee Cancer Assistance.

This is the 7th year for the Walk of Hope in Le Roy which has raised over $90,000 for Genesee Cancer Assistance since Karen Samis started the fundraising event in Le Roy. There is food, games for the kids, a soccer game and football game this evening.
At 7:15p.m. there is a USA Lap, at 9:15PM luminary bags will be lit. At 10PM, there will be closing remarks and a last lap.
“Just come out, grab something to eat, we have a huge basket raffle, some live music, each team has something they are selling,” says Samis
