On Tuesday, August 11th and Wednesday, August 12th 2026, Ganson Ave., Morton Ave., Maple Ave., Cone St., Garfield Ave., Warren St., and Union St (from Richmond Ave to Oak St.) in the City of Batavia will be closed to all through traffic.
This closure is expected to be between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM in order to perform cold milling the roadway surfaces. It is expected to be a milled surface for a one-week period while sewer structures are repaired. Street resurfacing will follow a press release advising of exact dates.
All motorists that regularly use these streets are asked to seek alternative routes while the closures are in place. Do not park on roadway during these hours. Businesses and residents within the area of the closure should anticipate delays, but we will do our best to accommodate getting you to and from your residence or place of business.
This work is weather dependent and subject to rescheduling if it rains.
