On 8/4/2026, Travis G. Jemison, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Failure to Register Internet Identifiers as a Sex Offender. Jemison, who is a level 3 sex offender, is accused of possessing and using nine different internet identifiers, which were not registered. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of bail.

On 8/8/2026, Sean D. Connolly, 42, of Le Roy, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Connolly was charged following a traffic stop on East Main Street. He was issued several traffic tickets and released.

On 8/7/2026, Zachary M. Burk, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Contempt 2nd degree and two counts of Aggravated Family Offense. The charges stem from two separate incidents where Burk allegedly violated an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

On 8/7/2026, Mark D. Tooley, 43, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Tooley was charged following an investigation at a traffic stop that occurred in March of 2025, where he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 8/5/2026, Duane A. Mather, 53, of Medina, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. Mather allegedly sent a text message to another person in violation of an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court.
