GENESEE COUNTY/Masquerade Gala to bring an evening of mystery, dining, dancing and community support to Bergen

Press release

BERGEN, NY – An elegant evening of mystery, fine dining, dancing, and community support is coming to Bergen as the Masquerade Gala takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Gillam-Grant Community Center.

Guests are invited to don a festive mask, dress in their finest formal attire and enjoy an unforgettable evening all for a great cause. Beginning with cocktails at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 6:00 p.m. the evening will continue at 8:00 p.m. with live music from the locally acclaimed band Something Else, giving guests the opportunity to dance and celebrate well into the evening.

The Masquerade Gala is more than an elegant night out; it is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of the Gillam-Grant Community Center. All proceeds from the event will benefit the community center, helping support its continued role as a vital resource in the Byron-Bergen community. Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to support the Center through games, raffles, silent and live auctions. This is the signature fundraising event for Gillam Grant Community Center.

“We are excited to bring everyone together for an evening that combines elegance, entertainment, and community support,” said Peggy Ireland, Executive Director of the Center. “Our annual Gala is always a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, music, and fellowship while supporting a great local cause.”

Tickets are $150 per person, and table sponsorships are also available. Formal attire is requested, and guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the evening with a masquerade mask. For tickets call 585-494-1621.
