Chief Michael Grover announces the arrest of Megan Schiavi, 34, no address provided, who is charged with Burglary in the second degree, and Petit Larceny following an investigation by the Perry Police Department.
It is alleged that Schiavi unlawfully entered a residence with the intent to commit a crime therein and allegedly stole property from inside the residence. During the investigation, video footage was obtained from a neighboring residence’s Ring security camera, which captured the alleged incident.
Schiavi was arraigned and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail without bail. She is scheduled to return to court on September 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
