WYOMING COUNTY/Three charged in Silver Springs Park incident

Three males are facing drug charges following an incident in the Village of Silver Springs Park on August 25, 2017.

Austin C. Romanelli, 20, of Silver Springs, along with a 16 year old male and an 18 year old male, were found by deputies in the Village of Silver Springs Park near the pavilion about 4:22p.m.

Following an investigation, all three males were found to be in possession of marijuana.

Romanelli was found to have provided the marijuana to the younger two males.  The 16 year old male and 18 year old male’s names are not being released due to their ages; however both were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and then released to their parents.

Romanelli is charged with criminal sale of marijuana 2nd (sale of marijuana to person under the age of 18), a class D felony, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Romanelli was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court where he was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail or $2,500.00 bond.  He is scheduled to return to the Village of Silver Springs Court on September 18, 2017 for further proceedings.
