Fire companies from Arcade, Bliss, Strykersville, Yorkshire and Chaffee/Sardinia responded to 400 Main street, Prestolite Electric Inc. a little after 11:00 a.m.on Tuesday for a commercial fire at the business.
According to Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services, a vent stack on a casting machine caught fire causing $250,000 in damages.
Fire crews were on scene for about 90 minutes, no one was injured in the fire.
