GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Three people taken to the hospital after accident during icy road conditions

Three people were transported to Rochester General Hospital after a single car motor vehicle accident on Rt. 33 in the Town of Byron on December 17, 2016.

The accident occurred about 11:25 p.m. when Joseph Tucker, of Salem Rd., Rochester, was traveling at an unsafe speed for icy weather conditions.

Tucker lost control of his vehicle and drove off the southeast shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree.

Three out of the six occupants of the vehicle were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

 

 

Sergio Ivan Santana Santana, 35, of State St., Batavia, is charged with felony DWI, felony driving with a BAC of .08% or more, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st and unlicensed driver after a call for subjects fighting in the area of Rt. 237 and Rt. 33 in the Town of Stafford on December 24, 2016.

An investigation revealed that Santana Santana was allegedly driving with a revoked license while intoxicated.

He was arraigned in the Stafford Town Court and held in the Genesee county Jail on $2,500 cash bail and $5,000 bond .

Santana Santana will return to court on January 12, 2017 at 6:00p.m.
