GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Man charged with possession of untaxed cigarettes

Ralph G. Chase Jr., 73, of Highland Dr., Dundee, NY, is charged with possession of untaxed cigarettes after a traffic stop on Alleghany road in Alabama on February 3, 2017.

During a brief investigation, Chase was found to allegedly possess 8,800 untaxed cigarettes.

He was issued an appearance ticket and released.

Chase was also issued a uniform traffic ticket as well.

 

Felicia R. Sherrell, 38, of Bloomingdale Rd., Akron, is charged with DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or more after a check the welfare call on Rt. 77 in Alabama on February 4, 2017.

Sherrell was found stopped on the shoulder of the road on Rt. 77 about 10:40p.m.

After a brief investigation, Sherrell was allegedly found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol.

She was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Alabama Court on February 27, 2017 at 6:00p.m.

 

Nicholas S. Dinitto, 27, of Oak Orchard St., Albion, is charged with petit larceny and possession of a hypodermic instrument after he allegedly stole from the the Target Store on Veterans Memorial Drive on February 4, 2017.

Dinitto was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court February 23, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

Nicole M. Capretto, 33, of Lewiston Rd., Batavia, was picked up on a bench warrant out of Batavia City Court for petit larceny for an incident on January 30, 2017.

Capretto was taken to the Genesee County Jail and released on her own recognizance.

She is scheduled to return to City Court at a alter date and time.

 

 

Jennifer L. Stack, 30, of S. Main St., Batavia, was arrested in a bench warrant out of Genesee County Court for attempted criminal contempt 2nd.

Stack was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash or bond bail.

Stack will appear in Genesee County Court this morning at 9:30a.m.

 

 

Jadon L. Peoples, 20, of Main St., Oakfield, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped for speeding in the Village of Oakfield on N. Main street on February 5, 2017.

Peoples was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Village of Oakfield Court on February 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.

 

A 16 year old female, of Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding an alleged violation of an order of protection on February 2, 2017.

The teen was processed at the Genesee County Jail and released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on February 20, 2017.
