BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Pearl street man charged after fight

Jacob L. Hernandez, 22, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after reports of multiple people fighting near Liberty and Sumner street on February 26, 2017.

Hernandez is accused of having unwanted physical contact with another person.

He was also charged with criminal contempt 2nd after violating a complete stay away order of protection.

He was released on an appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on March 7, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

 

Nathan E. Brege, 24, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd, resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child less than 17 after attempting to run away from officers during a domestic incident on S. Main street on February 26, 2017.

Brege was wanted on arrest warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd and when confronted during the incident he tried to run away and then physically fight with police.

Eventually police were able to take Brege into custody.

He was arraigned in City Court on the bench warrant and on the new charges stemming from the incident with police.

Bail was set at $1,500.

 

Richard D. Nagel, 34, of Savage Rd., Holland, is charged with controlled substance outside of original container and criminal mischief 3rd following a domestic incident on Meadowcrest Drive in Batavia on February 26, 2017.

Nagel intentionally broke the cell phone of a former girlfriend.

He was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance not in it’s original container upon his arrest.

Nagel was issued an appearance ticket. He was released to a third party.

 

Kelly A. Mcdonald, 50, of Kingsbury Ave., Batavia, is charged with felony DWI  following a complaint of an erratic operator at 390 West Main street on March 1, 2017.

Mcdonald was allegedly found to be operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition. She also has a previous conviction within the last 10 years, making the arrest a felony.

Mcdonald was jailed and appeared in City Court today.

 

Justin T. Stephenson, 32, of  Hutchins St., Batavia, is charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly yelling obscene and abusive things while in a residential populated area on Hutchins street.

He was also arrested on an active bench warrant from December of 2014.

He was arraigned in City Court and held on $250 cash or bond bail.

 

Dustin W. Bogue, 35, of Tracy Ave., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant out of City Court on February 24, 2017.

He was released with an appearance ticket.

 

Paul W. Zeches, 28, of Bank St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found on Bank street with a small amount of marijuana on February 23, 2017.

He was issued an appearance ticket.
