BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Maple street man jailed after alleged robbery

Elijah J. Richardson, 20, of Maple St., Batavia, is charged with robbery 3rd, petit larceny and harassment 2nd after he allegedly forcibly stole property from another person on Thorpe street on April 29, 2017.

Richardson was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail.

 

Melanie M. Matesz is charged with criminal mischief 3rd following a domestic incident where she intentionally damaged property in excess of $250.00.

Matesz was arraigned in City Court and held without bail until her next court appearance.

 

Marissa M. Lehto, 27, of Washington Ave., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after being accused of shoplifting at Tops Supermarkets on April 27, 2017.

Lehto allegedly stole more than $200 worth of groceries.

She was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail.

 

Tatiana C. Lugo, 22, of Hutchins St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after violating a complete stay away order of protection on April 24, 2017.

Lugo was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court at a later date.

 

Elizabeth A. Finnin, 47, of S. Swan St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing a pack of cigarettes from the Family Dollar Store on April 29, 2017.

Finnin was quickly apprehended after the incident and was arrested and released on an appearance ticket.

She will appear in City Court at a later date.

 

Eric M. Smith, 31, of Iroquois Rd., Caledonia, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of City Court on March 22, 2017.

Smith was arraigned in City Court on May 1, 2017 and jailed in lieu of $1,500 cash or bond bail and will re-appear in court later today.

 

James J. Spivey, 19, of Holland Ave., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of City Court on April 25, 2017 following his failure to comply with court conditions.

Spivey was arraigned in City Court and held on bail.

He will re-appear in City Court on May 16, 2017 at 1:30p.m.
