GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Akron teen accused of driving under the influence of drugs

Garrett A. Jurewicz, 19, of Crittenden Rd., Akron, is charged with DWI 1st, driving while ability impaired by drugs/1st offense, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, unlawful possession of marijuana and driving to the left of pavement markings following a traffic stop in the Town of Batavia on West Main street road.

A vehicle search led to the discovery of an alleged quantity of marijuana and a controlled substance.

Jurewicz was issued an appearance ticket and relased. He will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on June 8, 2017.

 

Jacob A. Hazzard, 22, Hudson Ave., Rochester, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unauthorized stickers on a rear window, insufficient tail lamps and unlicensed operator following a traffic stop in the Village of Oakfield on Drake street on May 6, 2017.

Hazzard was allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a taillight out and unauthorized stickers on the rear window.

Hazzard was also allegedly operating with a suspended permit and operating without a license.

He was also allegedly in possession of an amount of marijuana.

Hazzard was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Oakfield Court on June 12, 2017 at 6:00p.m.
